Your development

At American Golf, we are passionate about developing our people and aim to provide high-quality training that helps colleagues realise their potential. We recognise that our people enjoy learning on-the-job skills that are specific to their roles, so we run regular courses to help store colleagues perform at their best. We also provide fantastic training and shadowing opportunities at our Retail Support Centre, where new employees spend valuable time learning the ropes from more experienced team members.

Where do you fit in?


As a colleague in one of our retail stores, you will support the management team in driving sales, achieving KPIs and delivering high standards of presentation in our store. Our store colleagues clearly demonstrate passion for the game and take real pride in giving valued advice and great service to our customers, inspiring them to enhance their game.

Our knowledgeable retail colleagues deliver custom fittings on a daily basis using both state of the art launch monitors, such as GC2, Trackman and GCQuad as well as the American Golf 6 step fitting process to improve our customers game.

As a retail manager, you will be ultimately responsible for the performance of your store and team. Our management teams within our retail stores ensure that all employees maintain the highest levels of customer service by looking at ways to improve the customer journey and enhance our customers’ game. You will create an exciting work environment for your teams and drive sales and maximise profit. You will manage the day to day store operations while training and developing your team within store.

Our retail managers ensure that retail teams are working towards daily sales targets and motivate them to achieve these through collective passion and enthusiasm – both for the game and delivering an incredible service.

American Golf aren’t just Europe’s Largest Golf Retailer! We are also on the lookout for new colleagues to join our new and exciting leisure side of the business.
